Maria Geyman is a board-certified naturopathic physician. She graduated from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR and is currently completing her postdoctoral naturopathic medical residency at Remede Naturopathics in New York City.
Health as a human right, the body's incredible capability to heal itself, and the importance of a sustainable world are guiding principles in her care of patients. Naturopathic medicine is an alternative primary care paradigm. As such, botanical medicine, nutrition, and environmental health are at the forefront of patient care.
As there are so few naturopathic physicians in NYC, she sees people of all ages with varying health concerns. Her philosophy is to treat the person rather than their symptoms. Some examples of conditions addressed are headaches, anxiety, depression, skin issues, PCOS, fertility, thyroid disorders, menopause, allergies. She has specialized training in trans-health and provides naturopathic care to this medically underserved community.
Community Clinic at Remede predominantly serves NYC artists. All are welcome inclusive of gender, age, race, sexual orientation, size, ability, culture, religious beliefs.
